As you may know, you can save the data from each ride on a portable USB drive that you insert into the bike’s computer console. Using that data – the metrics that reflect your exertion – is a valuable training tool. Viewing it on a spreadsheet can be arduous to read but you have several options for optimum viewing. One option is Training Peaks software, available for free online at training peaks.com. It displays your ride statistics, including your heart rate, RPM, power exertion as measured in Watts, speed (mph) and calories. There are others you can use to graph your information, and you should compare. This is one we’ve used, and we wanted to remind you of another reason to love the bikes and their Power Meters at InMotion Cycling Studio.
